I followed instructions given on https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO42... to submit my public PGP key to PGP Global Directory (https://keyserver.pgp.com) but after uploading the key file I have not received the verification email to the corresponding email address at gmail.com. (I also checked the spam folder.)
Hi,
I use PGP Desktop 10.2 on my laptop and I'm often on travels. My issue is that the cached passphrase for my key seems to be lost after resuming from standby, even having activated "save my passphrase for the current session". Same happens if I use "save my password for 23hr:59mn:59 "
I just generated my PGP key the other day and I noticed something possibly odd.
I took a look at my fingerprint to see what it was and sone of the Keywords generated are exactly the same (see photo).
Hi @all
in Outlook the native SMIME support doesn't work when PGP is running. If PGP Desktop is closed, all E-Mails are shwon as SMINE signed / encrypted.
As far as I know, in the pref.xml the value "passthroughInboundSMIME" should be changed to "true". But that doesn't solve the problem:-(
I use MS Outlook 2013 and PGP 10.2.1.
Hello.
I've found reference to the Memory Locking Facility warning message in the archives for PGP 10.2, but noone else seems to have seen this with v10.3.
We deploy software to one of the UK telecoms companies and I have been working on Symantec Desktop Encryption 10.3.
The software installs correctly on 2 Win 7 32-bit machines but not on the 3rd.
How Guardian Edge and PGP have been combined to make the SEE 11 product of today.
Hi,
I need to verify the licensing mode for Symantec Desktop Encryption.
I bought 2 seats and was under the impression that it's a perpetual license, no need to renew. Isn't it?

Is there a tentative date when we can have support for PGP email encryption on windows 10
Hi,
From last week I received notification of *PGP Unprotected when I received email in inbox, I am using the latest version of PGP Desktop.
OS: Win7 Pro
PGP Desktop: 10.3 (Installed)
Is there is any solution of this problem?
The company modifies incoming email by placing an attachment warning that the email is from an external source. Unfortunately, the proxy will not automatically decrypt such messages. Sending an encrypted email internally works ok. Any ideas?
Hello,
I have received the following email requesting me to complete a verification process for my encryption key. Please let me know if this a legitimate email or not?

Hello

Hello,
I just tried to install PGP Desktop Encryption (Deployment Package from Server) on a Win 10 Client with Outlook 2016. The installation make no problem, but the assistant configuration can not read the Mail which come to Outlook. The Package have a Mail Server Binding Wildcard, I think this is right (on Office 2013 theres no problem).
After installing "Desktop Encryption" and looking for ways to use cryptography without the server, I found that this software does not support the TLS / SSL communication from remote servers.
Policy says to encode with PGP/Mime
Key says PGP/Mime
Yet, message is sent as a PGP Partitioned message. This is verified through the logs.
This used to work...
I'm running:
10.3.2 MP 11
Any ideas would be appreciated.
One of our users has PGP Desktop, v10. She's had it for a while and it was working fine yesterday. This morning when she opened it, she received this message:
